Express Entry is the flagship stream for Canadian immigration. It opens doors beyond the three federal streams: the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Federal Skilled Trades (FST), and Canadian Experience Class (CEC). Furthermore, it has additional pathways into Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) streams for all provinces in Canada. The success of Express Entry has led to improvements in several PNP streams, further enhancing the effectiveness of the immigration system.
How It Works: Candidates are ranked based on age, education, work experience, language skills, etc., under the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). Top-ranking profiles receive Invitations to Apply (ITA).
FSTP Eligibility: Focuses on skilled trades workers with two years of experience and a Canadian job offer or qualification.
FSWP Eligibility: Requires a minimum of 67/100 points, with factors like work experience, language proficiency, and education.
